I went to go get the mail down the street today and I wanted to take Lily along, so I dug out the snowsuit that my cousin Melody had given her and bundled her up in it so she'd stay warm on our walk...

The Moffatts came over Saturday night, fresh off their honeymoon in the Dominican. Lily has inspired them to start their own family which is awesome cause she'll have a friend close to her age. Good luck guys!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Every day I'm amazed at what new thing Lilianna is doing. Lately she's been very interested in playing which is so fun for me to watch, not to mention it frees up my hands to get some laundry done!

Lily and her favourite toys, her rings, which she can grab onto and fling across the room, her bunny which is always in her mouth and her rattle that when shaken goes "Olé!" and then plays the mariachi.

And of course, mommy's camera is fun to play with too!

Lily's other favourite toy is her musical book. She's really less interested in "reading" it as she is tasting it.

Now I know these pictures will cause a lot of controversy in Ottawa, but it's almost impossible to find a Sens Jersey deep in the heart of Leafs country.

She's so entranced she won't look away from the TV. Grandpa Hewens will be so proud!

I'm 3 months old today!

Time is flying by, but I hear that's what happens once you start having kids. Lily is getting bigger and more inquisitive every day. She has started playing with her toys, trying to sit up by herself, and she loves to stand. She's also started teething which means we're going through a crazy amount of bibs! It's amazing to see her little personality develop, she's got her mommy's temper...not good. But she's usually a very happy baby which is all a mother can hope for.
