She's starting to look so grown up, good thing there's another little one on the way or I'd cry!

Our little sickie
Lily had a fever the past two days and was a little sick, no doubt something she picked up from chewing on a Reader's Digest in the clinic on Wednesday. She's extra cuddly when she's not feeling her best so Daddy was able to sneak in some snuggle time before work today as they watched The Wonder Pets.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree
Yes, our Christmas tree is up and I LOVE it! All the snow inspired me. Not to mention if I had waited any longer we wouldn't have had one this year, I don't think I could have tackled that project any later than I did. I tried to get a picture of Lily in front of the tree but she doesn't sit still long enough, I need Jason's help for that one!

8 months - almost there!
Well, here I am, 8 months pregnant with triplets...or at least that's how I look. I miss seeing my feet! I can't believe I'm here already, this pregnancy has just flown by. We're getting pretty excited now, the nursery is almost done so pictures will be posted soon. I was up until 1am last night folding baby clothes and putting away teeny tiny diapers and socks, I started at 9:30 and got on a roll. Lily has been pretty excited too. She's taken everything in stride like stopping breastfeeding, getting rid of her night time feedings, taking away her bottle, and moving her to her big girl bed, we're hoping we're as lucky with bringing home the baby. She's a pretty easy going kid. I've been making meals and throwing them in the freezer for a few weeks now so we don't have to worry about groceries and cooking for a bit after we bring the baby home. I'm feeling less unprepared now which has helped with my stress levels. Just a few more weeks to go!

What's in a name?
I'm looking at this week's poll and I have to say I'm rather surprised. Jason and I are having a bugger of a time picking a girl's name. We have a back-up boy's name just in case the ultra-sound tech was wrong but like we did with Lily, we just can't agree on a girl's name. We like Emily, Gabriella and Kaitlyn the most out of the list of 30 girl's names I came up with, but I didn't expect Emily to be the front runner.
We like Emily cause it's very girly and sweet. There's no real way to have a short form of Emily which is what holds me back on that name, but Jason really likes it. Madeleine was my grandma's name. I wanted Madeleine as a first name but Jason doesn't like Maddy for short.
I love Gabriella cause we can call her Gabby (How cute is Gabby Goetz?) or Ella for short, but Jason's not too sure about it. And Lynne is mine and my mom's middle name.
We both like Kaitlyn cause we love Katie and Kate but we wonder if it's too popular, not to mention my friend Kelly had a little girl the same time I had Lily and that's her name, not that we're together all the time or anything but it seems weird that we would have kids with the same name. Grace came from the fact that I love that name but Jason didn't like it as a first name.
So that's how we came up with those names. We plan to take the three names into the delivery room with us and when we see her for the first time see which name suits her best, with the results of this poll in mind.

Lily's New Big-Girl Bedroom
We set up Lily's new bedroom set today and transformed her room from baby to big girl. It's not 100% done, I want to put up some shelves for all her little knick knacks and picture frames that are in a box in her closet right now and I have 3 framed pictures I want to hang above her book shelf that Jason made for her, but basically it's all done. She seems to like it, didn't even notice her crib has been moved to another room so that's good.

First night in her Big Girl Bed!
Well, it's finally finished! Lily's big girl bed sits side-by-side with her crib in her room as we start the transition process. I decided to put her to bed in her crib last night and then at 11pm we moved her to her bed. I knew she was too wide awake last night that if I put her right into the bed she wouldn't have stayed there so we thought this might work.
The move went smoothly until 1:30 when she woke up and had NO idea where she was. There was some crying but a few minutes of Jason and I sitting with her and stroking her hair and she went right back to sleep.
Good morning! Lily woke up at 7am and was chatting to herself for a bit. She started to get upset so I went into her room and she had dropped Teddy over the side but was staying in her bed so I was very impressed.
