We tried to take a self family picture in front of the Christmas tree. This was take 7, there were several more after but it got worse!

Later we went to see Santa at Sobey's. Emily didn't cry, thank God!

My baby is 1. I can't believe the lightening speed with which the past year has passed. From tiny, immobile, bundle of baby to crawling, inquisitive, funny little girl. Emily has grown and changed so much. She has some teeth now, tons of little red curls and the chubbiest legs you've ever seen.

She chases her big sister around, and stops dead in her tracks anytime she hears music so she can dance, and will eat anything you put in front of her... except cake apparently.

She's smart and curious and charming and perfect. I can't wait to see how much the next year changes her as she grows into the little girl she will become.
