Lily's new ride

Like my new bike? Auntie April gave it to me for my birthday. Daddy put it together last night cause I finally have space to use it.

I can't quite reach the peddals yet...

...so daddy, push me around. Not too fast, I'm a beginner!

See this leg, it's too short right now, so is my other one, but when I get bigger I'm gonna sneak out and ride this bike all the way to grandma's house!

We were watching the Leafs/Panthers game last week and Jason was cheering for the Leafs and we were cheering for the Panthers (just cause they weren't the Leafs!). The Panthers scored a goal and mom, dad and I started cheering and Lily decided to back up daddy...

Trailer Life

We spent our first night at our temporary home last night. It was much better than the air mattress that kept deflating! It's tiny but everything that we brought over fit in it nicely. Lily has been enjoying exploring her new surroundings. We'll b in our new house in 20 days, see you all then!

The Big Move

We had our big move on Saturday and it went well. Jason's parents, his brother Rick and our friend Devin came to help us. We started at 9am and finished at around 4pm. What took the longest was figuring out how to move the washer and dryer, apparently front loaders require a lot of extra care when moving so we took our time. Getting stuff into the garage was no easy feat either, it was a real jig-saw puzzle! But we managed to get it all in and safe. Now we're living like poor students for the week.

Lily's happy with the extra space, she now has a playroom where our dining room used to be!

The basement is empty as is Lily's room except for her playpen and rocking chair and our room has an air-mattress on the floor that keeps deflating. I'm actually starting to look forward to moving into the trailer!

Organized Chaos

The move to the garage of the new house is only 6 days away and the packing is coming along. It's hard sorting out what we'll need to take with us to our temporary location and what we can do without for for 3 weeks. I absolutely hate living in this kind of chaos. There are piles everywhere, boxes everywhere and every time I go to get something I remember I already packed it. One more month and we're in the new house...I CAN'T wait!

New House Progress: Kitchen's in!

And the kitchen cabinets are in! Sorry for the blurry picture, since they've put locks on the doors we can only peek in through the windows which are getting quite dirty from all the construction. The bathrooms are all done now too.

These things happen

I just wanted to fill you all in on what's going on with me. This past weekend I had a miscarriage. My pregnancy was a little weird right from the get-go but it's hard not to get excited about these things and want to share the news. Although we are upset about what has happened, I'm taking today only to feel sorry for myself and then I'm going to move on. I'd appreciate it if no one mentioned it to me via phone calls or comments on this post. I need to put it behind me. I have a lot to be thankful for, a beautiful little girl, a wonderful husband and soon a new house, those are the things I want to focus on.
