Storybook Park!

We took Lily to Storybook Park on Wednesday, June 25th. It's a little Nursery Rhyme theme park in Owen Sound. As soon as we pulled up Lily was excited. She had a great time there, we hope to take her back sometime this summer as the waterpark part of the park wasn't opened until the day after we went (the first day of summer vacation for the kids) and it looked like lots of fun. It wasn't very busy cause again, it was the day before the kids were out of school which was nice, no lines, no crowds, it was a great day!

The big slides when you walk into the park, Lily made a bee-line for them!

Weeee!

She had to scoot out the bottom cause of her sandals but she loved it

we spent a lot of time at the slides!

On the tram that takes you around the park

Lily standing on the seat of the tram watching as we went by llamas and alpacas and monkeys and lemurs

another big play structure, we passed it on the tram and Lily tried to jump off to go play

Our picnic lunch

Lily worked up an appetite and cleaned her plate!

After lunch we tried some rides, this was Lily's first, Thomas the Tank Engine!

choo-choo!

The train went pretty fast so it was hard to get a good shot, but she had the biggest smile the whole time

This ride was slower, big smiles again!

she loved "steering" the airplane

They had some rides for families, Jason took her on this one cause it said no pregnant riders

Lily looked like she was having fun, Jason, not so much

on our way out the slides caught Lily's eye again

Look! Mommy was there too!

I can't wait to take her to Disney!!

Summer Picnic

We got Lily a little picnic table for the backyard but until the crush stone for the patio is put down it's in our kitchen. I called Lily for lunch the other day and she came and sat at the picnic table so I let her have lunch there. She was really good, she sat through lunch without trying to get up and run away and she was very neat. It'll be fun once we put it outside.

Our budding pianist

We went to visit my Aunt Nancy and Uncle Stewart our lsat night in Ottawa and Lily discovered their music room. She climbed up on the piano bench and touched a key and was hooked. She stayed there "playing" the piano for over an hour. She was absolutely fascinated and loved when we clapped for her. Jason and I are keeping our eyes peeled for a piano for sale in our area so we can put her in lessons.

Playing chopsticks with Uncle Stewart

I was really impressed with her posture and form, she's a natural!

Chase me Grandma!

After dinner one night Daddy and Grandpa did the dishes (which mommy said she HAD to get on camera) so Grandma had time to play with me before my bath.

Grandma, that tickles!

Ahhh, I have to get away!

Chase me around the couch Grandma! Chase me!

You're fun Grandma!

Heat Wave

It was so hot while we were visiting Grandma and Grandpa that mommy had to fill the big tub in grandma's bathroom so I could go swimming to cool off. That was lots of fun! Mommy says next time we go the big pool in the backyard will be ready and I can swim in there!

Cousin Olivia's Christening

Olivia opening her present from us, I helped mommy pick it out.

Olivia's like me, she likes the paper the best!

Me and Daddy

Poor Lilianna, she's staring longingly at the park behind Aunt Debi's house. We eventually took her over there but when we brought her back for lunch she went right back to staring at it through the fence.

This is Olivia's daddy Seb, he's funny!

And this is my GG. Mommy says this is a rare picture, GG hates having her picture taken.

Gone to Grandma and Grandpa's!

We made it, high five Auntie April!

What do you mean I have to bring in the luggage?

We're pregnant again!

I'm 3 months along now so this baby is due to arrive on December 20th. All is well except for the nausea and fatigue but that means the baby is doing well so I can't complain too much. 6 more weeks and we find out if it's a boy or girl!
