Emily's Big Girl Room!

The mess in the hallway after emptying out Emily's room and the guestroom/Al's room. The stress of dealing with this for a week while we painted etc.. almost put me into early labour!

moving the freshly painted furniture into her room, Jason did a great job!

Her new bed with her new quilt and bed rails!

the bookshelf daddy built her, Lily has one too, they're great!

we finally let the girls in to see and they went right to jumping on the bed like monkeys!

Emily didn't have a very goo first night in her new bed. It was big and she was scared. We had to go in several times to comfort her. Eventually she fell asleep and slept on and off until 8am. The next night, and every night after have been much better, she's now sleeping from 8pm (with a small bottle at midnight) to 7-8am straight... thank God!

7am the morning after her first night, sleeping like an angel

Emily decorates the nursery

Daddy started taping the walls and then Lily came in to help. Guess which part she taped? I swear, If I don't do things myself they don't get done right!

First we take off the switch plate covers and cold air return vents daddy!

then you cut, see how I'm doing this?

next we roll

Was this wall not sanded already? Do I have to do EVERYTHING?

no one pays attention to detail anymore!

Feeling ready!

This is by far my most challenging pregnancy. It's hard keeping up with 2 kids with a belly like this. Poor Emily misses my lap!

It was a great trip. We stayed at the Delta Hotel and the girls loved it. Between the elevator and the huge pool with kid's slide I don't think they ever wanted to leave! (quite frankly I didn't either!) The only downside was that our room wasn't a suite so after we put the kids to bed at 8pm we were forced to do this:

yes, we're sitting on the bathroom floor watching a movie on the girls' portable DVD system. Very uncomfortable for the pregnant lady!
