ready to go home

Well, I'd love to say her first field trip was a big success, but it wasn't. Lily didn't sleep well the tnight before. She woke up screaming 3 times from what I assume was nightmares so she wasn't a happy camper. She loved the bus and didn't want to get off so that didn't help.

When Gail was talking to us about all the different kinds of apples (personally I thought that part of the trip was better suited to a 1st grade class than a bunch of 2 & 3 year olds) they grow Lily had a major tantrum cause she just did not want to stand still and listen and I was making her. Then she had another when Gail brought out the ladder to show us how they pick the apples and Lily couldn't climb it. And yet another on the bus when it was time to get off and she had to wait her turn.

Embarassing for me cause every other kid was able to be good for the whole trip. But we did have some fun and she was really good about sitting on her bum and staying sitting on the bus so I was happy about that.

Looking forward to the next trip... kind of.
