Coast Guard headquarters for Lake Huron. This boat can roll all the way over in stormy weather and come right back up.

1 of the ships peeking out of the water

shipwrecks of the schooner Sweepstakes (1885) which went down in a storm and the steamer City of Grand Rapids (1907) which burnt and sank. The Sweepstakes is one of the best preserved wrecks in the Great Lakes, with her hull and main deck still fully intact. Very cool.
