Happy 2nd Birthday to our sweet little girl

Happy Birthday Lilianna!

Our little pud-pud is no longer a baby, she's a precocious, inquisitive, funny, affectionate, mischievous, adorable little girl who makes us laugh and brings joy everywhere she goes. It's hard to believe that it was 2 years ago that we saw you for the first time, all small and red and big eyed, it seems to have gone by so fast.

We've watched you change so much over the past year. You went from stumbling along haphazardly to climbing like a monkey and running like the wind. We still see that little baby in you when you climb up onto our laps to cuddle and read, but in a flash you're off and you're all busy toddler again. You started talking, not much, but we can tell you're just waiting until you have something big to say. You finally say mama, but just to mess with me you call me daddy every now and then, and then laugh and run away. We love to watch you play with other kids as you struggle to grasp the concept of sharing, and taking turns. We love how excited you get when you see a slide, or when we offer you a cookie, or when daddy comes home from work. We love when you giggle.

The next year will be filled with new discoveries and accomplishments and daddy and I will be there to cheer you on every step of the way. We are so proud of you and couldn't have asked for a better gift than you.
