6 months and all baby

Ahhh the joys of pregnancy, the backaches, the acid reflux, the trouble breathing, I remember you well. I'm glad I'm a stay at home mom though, I have no idea how women who are pregnant for the 2nd or 3rd time juggle work and family and still manage to stay awake all day! Jason has some time off next month so we plan to start getting the nursery sorted out. Lily's furniture is almost done so the transitioning her from crib to bed will happen next month too. I am really dreading that. I'm officially into my 3rd trimester now, not too much longer. It seems to be going by pretty fast this time around.

Lily's new big girl furniture

We got Lily a new bedroom set at the Southampton Market. It was a fantastic deal but it needs some work. I'm painting it a light cream colour. It's a work in progress!

the dresser

the headboard, the footboard looks the same but shorter

the nightstand and a wee little chair they threw in for free

mommy's doing all the work on this project!

Boat! BIG water! The M.S. Chi-Cheemaun Adventure

The pier on Manitoulin Island where you catch the ferry

The little town

Lily and Daddy playing at the park waiting for the ferry to arrive

Here it comes, better get back to the car!

The M.S. Chi-Cheemaun

Passengers from Tobermory disembarking and the long line of cars waiting to get on. We got on at the back of the boat.

Here we go!

we had to park in the narrowest, claustrophobic corridor I've ever seen, the car doors couldn't even open all the way.

out on the deck

Lily was very excited, she kept saying "BIG water!", Daddy was very nervous about Lily falling overboard

we did many tours of the boat

heading out of the channel onto Lake Huron

The kids' area, there was only one other little boy but Lily managed to make friends, he even shared his teddy grahams with her

When we got off the whole front of the boat opened up, it was petty neat, we would have stopped to take a better picture but after being on the road/water for 9 hours at this point we just wanted to get home!

Lily's definitely a dog lover!

the bridge to the U.S.

Lily going down the slide at the biggest park we've ever seen near Phil and PJ's. It must have had 10-12 huge play structures.

the big duck pond, we watched them swim around for a long time
