Friends at last!

It seems a truce has been called. Lily has stopped ignoring Emily and is being a good big sister. She tells me when Emily is crying (like I don't know, but it's cute) and she likes hugging her. Hallelujah!

Bedtime Stories

Emily has started joining Lily for bedtime stories, so far so good....

Lily now has art time everyday with the easel that daddy made for her and the art supplies that Grandma Hewens got her for Christmas. So far she likes the finger paints and the chalk the best.

I'm 1 month old today!

Emily has changed a lot in her first month. She's put on 2.2lbs so she's 8 lbs 10.5 oz now, she's awake a lot more during the day and checking everything out and she's sleeping more at night. She's been crying a lot since we got back from Ottawa. I'm not ready to call her collicky yet as she won't cry if you're holding her while you're standing or patting her bum, but as soon as you put her down or stop patting she's grumpy. It's been challenging. Lily still hasn't warmed up to her but I'm hoping that will change once Emily is more interactive and able to play on the floor and isn't as dependent on me. We're making it through the days and look forward to sleeping once again someday soon.
